Flying is such a wonderful experience. Yesterday, as I flew from Dallas to Minneapolis, we passed over so much of God’ good green earth.
As I looked out my window, I was totally amazed that the predominant color of the earth was green.
I had expected to see much more of the influence of man, not that it wasn’t there in the roads and square geometry of the fields, but mostly the earth was green.
I saw the small clouds leaving shadows here and there on the landscape. They reminded me of days gone by when we used to lay on the grass and look up at the clouds passing by, just intrigued by the shapes and variations of white and grey and sometimes black.
It’s a wonderful thing, to live on God’s Good Green Earth. Relish every minute of it because there are never enough minutes.
